Number of People

Follow the link below to an audio podcast discussion on Piven Theatre's production of "Number of People" between David Bier and David Chack. This is our first attempt at a podcast so we apologize for the sound quality. Also there is a small break in the audio around middle where they start talking about Oskar Shindler. Sorry, for the troubles, but hope to get sound remedied for the next one.

David Bier, MSW, is Consultant/Clinician for the Holocaust Community Services program at Jewish Child and Family Services, Skokie, Illinois. He has worked with and on behalf of survivors of the Holocaust for over 9 years.
Holocaust Community Services provides support to survivors to continue to live independently in their homes, and offers consultation and training.

David Y. Chack is President of the Association for Jewish Theatre. He is currently on faculty at the Board of Jewish Education Metropolitan Chicago and the Dawn Schuman Institute of the Community Foundation Metro Chicago. He produces, writes, directs, and teaches theatre and curates exhibitions. He is a recent 2010 Fellow of the Council of American Jewish Museums and has received multiple awards including the Elie Wiesel Award for Jewish Arts and Culture; the James Macdonald Award for Interfaith Understanding and Social Justice, and a semi-finalist award for the Charles R. Bronfman Innovative Jewish Communities Visiting Professorship at Brandeis University. Many of his articles are found on jewish-theatre.com
